Dr. Kakoma Luneta, associate professor of mathematics education from the University of Johannesburg, is visiting our lab between April 2nd and 13th. Dr. Luneta has interacted with faculty and students in our college, and gave a talk on bridging educational neuroscience and math education. It has been very helpful to hear Dr. Luneta's perspectives on how math educators approach to educational neuroscience and how we should reshape teacher education programs to expose teachers to latest science on learning and cognition.
